Sherpany`s mission is to give back time by turning formal meetings from time-wasters into value-creators. Our team is building a mobile and web based platform that allows effective choice making by digitally transforming meetings and decision making processes. In cutting administrative, organizational and repetitive work Sherpany`s platform is actively sparing resources like paper, shipping and transportation. Within the next 5 years we aim to give back over 2 Mio. hours of extra time to people making decisions thereby enabling them to focus on value-adding work. Our headquarter is located in Zurich and we have offices in Lisbon, Berlin, Milan and Wroclaw.

This is how your new role looks like:

You are part of the 55-persons engineering team of DevOps, Backend & Frontend, UX/UI Experts, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters. You will work closely with your fellow DevOps Engineers with the mission to operate a highly sophisticated SaaS application with the aim of perfectionism to secure confidentiality, integrity, and availability. We run our own Kubernetes clusters in geo-redundant data centers in a private cloud setup. You handle generic processes such as deployments and rollbacks, capacity planning, developing and maintaining the continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, collaborate with the cybersecurity team, resolve incidents, and implement changes on the infrastructure. Additionally, you make sure to support our development team to secure effective and efficient processes. Due to the fast growth of the company you will evaluate the pertinence and suitability of current and past solutions since our challenges evolve rapidly.

This job is for you if you..

  • have a profound experience with Kubernetes or Openshift
  • have practical experiences with Docker, Python and Bash
  • have a strong conceptual understanding and are able to design architecture for distributed systems
  • are an open-minded personality with a can-do attitude and good English skills
